Reservations

Reservations cannot be made more than 12 months in advance. Eg December 2011 bookings can only be made from 1st December 2010.

Deposits

Bookings falling within 7th January to 7th December.

1. Deposits are to be made within five working days of making the reservation to secure the reservation.
2. The following deposits are required to secure a booking
   • Maswikeng, Motseng R2000
   • All other lodges R1000

Bookings falling within 8th December to 6th January

1. The following initial deposits are required to secure a booking
   • Maswikeng, Motseng R2000
   • All other lodges R1000
2. By 1st September the following additional deposits to be made to retain the booking
   • Maswikeng, Motseng R2000
   • All other lodges R1000

Deposit Refunds

Bookings falling within 7th January to 7th December

1. Four weeks notice required for deposit to be refunded
2. As an alternative to deposits being forfeited, they may be transferred to a later booking

Bookings falling within 8th December to 6th January

1. If booking not required at 1st September, initial deposit will be refunded
2. Once second deposit has been made the deposits are not refundable

Payment

1. Bookings falling within 7th January to 7th December
   Payment before arrival by direct deposit/eft, or by cheque or cash on arrival
   No credit card facilities
   For payments by cash in excess of R2000, an additional one percent will be added to cover bank charges
2. Bookings falling within 8th December to 6th January
   Payment in full by direct deposit/eft four weeks in advance

Prices are vat inclusive. Tax invoice available on request

Servicing

Accommodation prices do not include servicing. The following servicing options are available and must be booked prior to arrival. Servicing is not available on Sundays, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Good Friday

1. Beds made, bathrooms and kitchen cleaned, house swept, towels hung out
   • R240 for Maswikeng
   • R120 for all other lodges plus individual units at Motseng
2. Clean up after meals
   • 8.00am to 5.00pm R30 per hour per employee provided
   • after 5.00pm R40 per hour per employee provided
3. Childminding – tariff as for 2. Above
4. Linen and towels are changed after four nights. A full service is provided at the same time at no charge.

Firewood

A reasonable amount of wood is provided for both braaiing and general burning. Additional wood can be purchased as follows:

• Sekelbos R75 /large bag
• Vaalbos R50 /large bag
• Bluegum R30 /large bag

Game drives

Drives in an open landcruiser are available in the early morning or late afternoon and must be booked at least a day in advance through the office.

Charges are:

• Adults R80
• Children 4-12 R40
• Minimum charge R300

Guided walks

Guided walks of upto two hours on one of the marked walking trails are available and must be booked through the office at least a day in advance.

Mountain bike rental

Bikes can be rented through the office on the following basis

• R100 per day
  
• Indemnity form to be signed
  
• Rental includes helmet
