The Property

The property accessible to guests comprises three sections of Lindani plus a small section belonging to the owners’ son and daughter-in-law known as New Alden Farm. Total size is approximately 3800ha.

MAIN FARM

This section is 2400ha and has Motseng, the Loft, Stone House and Bush Camp on it. The topography is varied with two perennial streams, deep kloofs, large open fields, tall cliffs, hidden amphitheatres and mountains rising 230 meters from the lowest point to an altitude of 1430m.
Because of its size and varied topography, the main farm has most of the walking and cycling trails on it. It also offers greater variety of game than the other sections.
Access is through Gates 1, 2 and 10.

LINDANI EAST

Lindani East is situated across the gravel road directly to the east of the main section and has Skebenga lodge on it. It is 600ha in extent and comprises a wide valley that runs down to the Palala River. Its main attractions are a lovely dam fed by a strong spring, a wetland that is an important source of water for the Palala River, particularly in winter, and a long pool on the Palala River.

Fences have been removed with the neighbours – as a result the game belongs to them.
Access is through Gates 3, 4 and 5.

MODUMONG

This property is 850ha in extent and has Maswikeng and Nokeng lodges on it. It has been successfully claimed and is being leased from the Molekwa Communal Property Association until handover on 31st January 2013. Its main attraction is 7kms of river frontage on the beautiful Palala River – there is a walking trail along the river. Game is present on the property but not as varied as on the main section.

Access is through Gate 8 and, though the property is directly across the river from Lindani East, it is some 16kms from the main farm by road.

NEW ALDEN FARM

Alden Cottage is situated on this section which is directly across the main road to the west of the main section. Though only a small section is accessible to Lindani guests, it does include a large very attractive dam with a picnic site and canoe.
Access to guests staying at Alden Cottage only is through Gate 6. Lindani guests wishing to visit the dam need to follow directions on the map provided in each lodge.
